The beauty of Ignorence
When first started my voyage into this world of movie critiquing I was ignorant and in complete bliss. I say movies as they were, never questioned them, unless they were completely horrendous. And always understood their plot and scenes. But with this newly acquired knowledge, I'll never go back to to my former bliss. School is a curse for those of the simple mind. It brings new ideas and creates knowledge where ever you look. You can't look at a light without the knowledge of its inner workings flashing through your mind. Just as now I can't watch a movie without acknowledging the camera angle, contrast of the shot, seeing recurring themes or just thinking in general. I watch movies now and compare and contrast, where before I only saw the things I wanted and enjoyed it for what it was, brain numbing. i don't hate my new gift if you will, but i don't love leaving my old life behind. I know I will one day love this talent and flourish in it but with this change I am missing the beauty of Ignorance.

Kung Fu Crazy
When i hear of a new kung fu movie coming out i go crazy. I love those crazy scenes where the movie artist blow your mind. Im not talking about to bull crap wire acts. im talking Drunken Master, Ong Bak, Bruce Lee in general. These master are serious and take every scene to the max. they don't use stunt men to do the dangerous stuff or CGI for those death defying acts.
I go crazy with the authentic movies. Now some people prefer voice overs, and thats their opinion and i accept that, but that doesn't their wrong, they are. Movies are always best with the desperationin therevoice and a real scene around them. With a fight scene on a train they are actually on a moving train and not just in front of a green screen. Things have to entirly real to have made a great authentic Kung Fu master piece. And thats my Blog.
